Simple Roasted Broccoli
Side dishes don't get any easier than this simple roasted broccoli recipe. Roasting brings out a slight sweetness and richness of flavor that steaming just can't give you! Broccoli is considered a superfood because it's loaded with fiber, antioxidants and also contains Iron, Potassium and Vitamin K. Try it today!

Ingredients
6 cups Broccoli (cut into florets)1 1/2 tbsps Avocado Oil or Extra Virgin Olive Oil1 tsp Garlic Powder or 1 clove crushed garlic1/4 tsp Sea SaltBlack or Red Pepper to taste |

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400ºF . Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Arrange the broccoli florets on the baking sheet and season with avocado oil, garlic powder and sea salt. Toss well.
Roast in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring and flipping halfway through, until broccoli is tender.
Remove from the oven and divide between plates. Enjoy!
Tip - To roast broccoli at the same time as another dish, consider putting broccoli on the top or bottom rack (closer to the heat) and use the convection setting if you have it on your oven. This will encourage even cooking throughout your oven and give nice, crisp broccoli.
If making with a recipe like Mexican Stuffed Peppers, cook broccoli at the other recipe's temperature, and modify the broccoli's cooking time if desired.
Store leftovers covered in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Enjoy cold, or re-crisp in an airfryer or toaster oven.
