Air Fryer Lemon Parmesan Asparagus

Bright and fresh, this easy Lemon Parmesan Asparagus is simple to prep and enjoy anytime of the week, right in your air fryer! Serve with Tangy Lemon Chicken and Herbed Rice, or as a base for a fresh salad. 

Serves 4



4 cups Asparagus - about 16 stems (tough ends trimmed)

1 tsp Avocado Oil or Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Sea Salt & Black Pepper (to taste)

3 tbsps Parmigiano Reggiano (finely grated)

1 TB Lemon Zest (from about 1/2 lemon)

Preheat the air fryer to 400ºF.

In a bowl, combine the asparagus, oil, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.

Place the asparagus in the air fryer basket. Arrange in an even layer and bake for six to seven minutes or until fork tender and cooked through. Check after about 4 minutes to make sure they're not buring, and adjust temperature or turn off heat and close the airfryer to allow residual heat to continue cooking without burning.

Transfer the asparagus to a plate and top with parmesan and lemon zest. Enjoy!

Enjoy with Tangy Lemon Chicken, your favorite steak dish, as a topping for a fresh Spring salad, bring as a side to your next event.


Store Leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in air fryer at about 250º.
